About Peabody Health Philanthropies
Peabody Health Philanthropies (PHP) is a Donor-Advised
Fund (DAF). Our mission is to improve the quality of healthcare by using
scientifically-validated patient simulations to serially measure and standardize
healthcare practice, lower the cost of care and improve patient outcomes in
low-and-middle-income-countries (LMIC). We believe that every person deserves access to high-quality healthcare,
regardless of where they live or their socio-economic status. Our mission
is to achieve this by using scientifically-validated patient simulations to
measure and standardize healthcare practice, lower the cost of care, and
improve patient outcomes.
Founded in 2023 by John Peabody and Camellia Ngo have both
been at the forefront of healthcare innovation and social impact for over 25 years.
PHP works closely with health ministries, NGOs, and corporate partners to
create sustainable and scalable solutions that address the most pressing
healthcare challenges in LMICs. After selling his original company, QURE
Healthcare, John remained committed to bringing his work to low and
middle-income countries by retaining the licensing agreement to the
technology.
Peabody Health Philanthropies has set long-term goals to improve
healthcare quality and access in LMICs through a multifaceted approach. The
foundation's approach focuses on creating, certifying, and providing care for
healthcare providers and systems. Additionally, the foundation aims to support
the development of a Center for Quality-of-Care Excellence and to establish
national certification for providers and health care systems when they routinely
use the validated EQIS tool to improve quality of care.
Peabody Health Philanthropies also seeks to cultivate continuing education,
knowledge sharing, and guidance to healthcare providers, and to care, support,
attract, and fund education for LMIC health professionals. These goals aim to
create sustainable healthcare systems that prioritize healthcare quality, access,
and equity for all.

have never been more evident or urgent. The ongoing challenges posed by
global health crises, coupled with rapid advancements in medical technology,
